Afinia EinScan Pro HD Overview
Made for designers and engineers, the EinScan Pro HD from Afinia/ is a 3D scanner that can be operated handheld or, using an optional Industrial Pack, fixed with or without a turntable. It captures high resolution scans using an LED projection module with stripe pattern scanning and a minimum point distance setting of 0.2mm. It is also able to capture a wider range of objects, especially ones with dark or black colors and metal surfaces. It can process up to 3,000,000 points per second in handheld mode and less than 0.5 seconds in Fixed Mode. When working in Fixed Mode, objects may also be moved during scanning, with an accuracy of up to 0.04mm and a volumetric accuracy of 0.045mm +0.3mm/m. Included is free ExScan Pro scanning software.
General Features
Impressive High Resolution for Fine Details
By adopting a new structure light projection module, the stripe pattern scanning which was traditionally used in Fixed Scan Mode is now utilized in Handheld HD Scan Mode. With a 0.2mm minimum point distance setting and optimized algorithm, high resolution and accuracy in handheld scanning is as good as when using fixed scan.
Less Limitations of Scanned Objects
With new lighting projection hardware and software algorithms, the EinScan Pro HD is capable of scanning a wider range of objects with dark or black color and casting metal surfaces, enriching the capability for 3D scanning of materials.
Fast Scanning Speeds and Data Transmission
The EinScan Pro HD can process up to 3,000,000 points per second under handheld scan mode, and less than 0.5 seconds for every single frame in Fixed Scan Mode. USB 3.0 provides high speed data transmission.
High Accuracy for High Quality 3D Modeling
With multiple positioning methods, both the scanner and object can be moved during scanning. It delivers accuracy up to 0.04mm in Fixed Scan Mode. Under handheld scanning mode by marker alignment, the volumetric accuracy is up to 0.045mm +0.3mm/m.
Modular Design for a Wide Range of Applications by Multi Scan Modes and Data Alignments
The modular Color Pack and Industrial Pack, as optional add-ons to the EinScan Pro HD, extend your scanning experience for more applications. Multiple positioning methods, including feature alignment, marker alignment, turntable coded targets alignment, manual alignment, and texture alignment (with Color Pack) greatly enhance the scanning efficiency without additional preparation.
Take the EinScan Pro HD Anywhere You Go
The lightweight, ergonomically designed EinScan Pro HD is able to be taken anywhere. Easy plug-and-play lets you run the scanner without complex installation and the compact size allows the scanner to move freely.
